Tasked with merging two CRM’s into a single CRM, Datarex helped a B2B client who needed a single CRM system to monitor and analyze the communication between their sales teams and key contacts, and to know which services their customer’s employees use.

The application that facilitated the client’s service delivery was separate from their sales system. Datarex mapped the clients data from each system and developed a standardized data model – then, using custom modules and fields configurations Datarex migrated the customer’s historical data to the new platform. Once this was done, we developed data pipelines to automate the flow of new and changed customer and service data using a powerful integration platform.

The sales teams were trained to look at each service the customers and their employees made use of which helped target their conversations and upsell related products. The client could also track the latest communication with their customer, so they would always be updated on who talked to whom. The client’s executive leadership were able to stay up to date on sales activities without lengthy debriefs and could start tracking meaningful sales metrics.

Using Make, Datarex developed custom data flows from a wide range of systems to flow into and out of the newly configured Zoho CRM Plus.

Zoho Desk

Customer emails convert to tickets and are related to their customer record. This allows you to see if your contact has had any issues that you need to be aware of prior to your call.

Knowledge Base

Created a dedicated knowledge base available externally so customers can find answers themselves without having to contact you.

Analytics Dashboards

Developed dashboards for executives to check on their sales pipelines with ability to look at sales team performance and drill into funnels to gain insights.

Outlook Integration

Integrated Zoho with Microsoft Outlook so the sales team’s emails would automatically track and relate to the contacts on the fly without always having to go through the CRM.
